kapuPatel Photography launches the next phase of the The YouShine Movement

The Face Campaign Exhibit at nrg Princeton

Were you at the NJ Conference for Women on Friday, Oct 26th? Did you catch our Face Campaign Video? We would love to hear your thoughts on the campaign. It is part of our YouShine Movement.

The Face Campaign is currently supported by NRG and exhibited in their Princeton HQ until Jan 2019. Our closing tour to view the campaign is on Thursday, Dec 6th 2018. If you would like to view this exhibit, you can sign up for the closing tour here. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-face-campaign-dec-tour-at-nrg-tickets-51081738856
Kapu’s vision is to take The YouShine Movement far and wide and to spread this message of self-love and self-acceptance in every individual. We are now seeking partnerships with corporations and galleries in this area that would like to host the exhibit.

The next phase of this movement is for teens and is titled – “Inner & Outer Beauty – A Teen Perspective”. As part of this Campaign, we are currently seeking applications from 10 teen participants (boys and girls) who believe in the power of inner beauty as much as outer shine. The selection will be based upon the essay submissions to the question: “What makes you one of a kind beautiful?” and the drive to be part of this powerful message of self-awareness and self-love. The selected 10 applicants will then be photographed for the Campaign. This session will be held on Jan 5th. The complete details of the project can be found here: https://www.kapupatelphotography.com/theteencampaign2019 If you know a teen who might be interested in being a part of this Campaign, please contact us: kapu@kapupatelphotography.com

The Face Campaign and The teen Campaign are part of the YouShine movement by KapuPatel Photography. It is a project that seeks to exhibit beauty as freedom from indulgent labels, the armor of make-up and the pre-conceived notions of symmetry and color tones. It urges us all as individuals and as a society at large, to liberate ourselves and others from feature shaming, body shaming and color shaming. It is a movement of self-love and self-acceptance with all our perfect imperfections.

Kapu Patel is a NJ/NY/PA/Boston based portrait photographer who believes in empowering people through portraits. For complete details and portfolio: www.kapupatelphotography.com
