Announcing Winners of the 2018 Toast to Tourism Awards

The Princeton-Mercer Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau [CVB] is pleased to announce the Fourth Annual “Toast to Tourism” Award winners to be honored on Tuesday, October 16th at the Boathouse at Mercer Lake. The ceremony will include three award presentations and two keynote speakers.

The awards breakfast will honor leaders in the tourism industry who have enhanced and expanded tourism through their enthusiasm, passion and dedication, and have made a significant, promotional or economic impact to the industry of the Princeton-Mercer Region.

The CVB is pleased to honor the below awardees:

  • Tribute to Tourism Award presented to Pam & Gary Mount of Terhune Orchards
  • Event of Excellence Award presented to Communiversity Arts Fest
  • Praise for Performance Award presented to two exemplary frontline employees:
    • Amanda Donald, TDA of the Capital City Farmers Market
    • Nick Pilarte of the Holiday Inn – East Windsor

In addition to the award presentations will be several keynote speakers:

  • Jeffrey Vasser, Acting Director of New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism
  • Michelle Presnall of the Museum of the American Revolution
  • Welcoming remarks by Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes

The event is anticipated to attract 200 tourism and business professionals. Tickets for members of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce are $40 and $60 for future members.
