Makers Day activities are brought to you by the City of Trenton, manufacturers, businesses and workforce training organizations like Tektite, Cimquest, Makers Bot, ETS, Seven13 Films, Trenton Public Schools STEM Academy, MCCC, Shiloh CDC, Code for Trenton, NJIT, NJMEP, Trenton Public Libraries, Trenton 365 and the Trenton Books at Home Program

Why Trenton Makers Day? Trenton manufacturers told the City of Trenton that they wanted to hire more Trentonians and that they could only do it if Trenton students were excited about makers activities and STEM as well as understanding that well-paying manufacturing careers were out there. So we started the Manufacturing Working Group, which is comprised of Trenton City Hall, Trenton manufacturers, the Trenton Public Schools and area workforce developers. The Working Group have done many different activities to further this manufacturing goal, including Trenton Makers Day.
