Speaker: Virginia Baeckler, Director, Plainsboro Public Library Topic: "PR and Marketing on a Dime" The Chamber welcomes Virginia Baeckler, Director of the Plainsboro Public Library as the May 21 Business Before Business Breakfast meeting speaker. Virginia has an extensive background in marketing and PR and is the author of several books including PR for Pennies and Sparkle! She has traveled across the country using her books to give PR and marketing-related workshops. Virginia is the recipient of the New York Times 2006 Librarian of the Year award as well as the New Jersey State Legislature Outstanding Woman award. She is listed in Who's Who in American Women and Who's Who in Emerging Leaders. She collaborated with Russell Hulse, Nobel Laureate, to found a non-profit organization, Contact Science, for the purpose of promoting informal science education through traveling science exhibits and educational programs in libraries across the country. Virginia is currently working with NASA to implement exhibits on space telescopes and Johnson and Johnson to create a Science Center program for the New Brunswick Public Library. Other positions have included Advocacy Coordinator for Alliance for Arts Education; Legislative Liaison, Educational Media Association of New Jersey; Director of the Headquarters Library for the Mercer County Library System; Head of the Slavic Order Section of Princeton University and consultant/founder of two small corporate libraries and one-in house advertising company.

He has helped thousands of people from all walks of life, of all ages win more in sports, business and the game of life. He will teach you mental secrets of the world's greatest athletes and businesspeople and how that will help you achieve peak performance and win more. Founder of Tennis Solutions/Tseng Performance, Ed Tseng is a USPTA-certified tennis professional and was named Pro of the Year USTA/NJD 2005. He helps and motivates people through tennis, motivational speaking, private and group consulting and his daily blog (www.edtseng.blogspot.com). Mr. Tseng's audiences have included athletes, coaches, parents, businessmen/women, students, police officers, performers, and fitness clubs. Ed is a volunteer tennis coach for the Special Olympics and involved in several charities in the New York/New Jersey area. He is the author of the book, "Game. Set. Life. - Peak Performance for Sports and Life." and currently resides in Lawrenceville, NJ.
