Arts Council of Princeton presents Martin Luther King Day Event

Join the Arts Council of Princeton on Monday, January 15, 2018, from 9am-5pm to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a day of live music, interactive workshops, and discussions as they relate to Dr. King’s life, teachings and civic engagement. This free community event is held in collaboration with Princeton University and the Historical Society of Princeton.

SCHEDULE:
9-11am – Free Community Breakfast with speakers Princess Hoagland of Not in Our Town Princeton and Monique Jones of Princeton Public Schools
11am-2pm – Hands-on art and history activities for all ages including Open Archive by the Historical Society of Princeton
2-3pm – Live performance by the First Baptist Church Choir
3-5pm – Screening of TEACH US ALL
